Consumer Representation
Are you a MHPH patient with an interest in providing a patient perspective on issues relating to our service and quality improvement?
Monash House Private Hospital is seeking expression of interest from patients to participate in a consumer representative committee. As a valued member of the committee, you will provide a patient perspective on issues relating to improving patient safety, policy, and outcome.
Our private hospital is independantly run, so your input will have a real effect on the way Monash House operates.
About the committee
The committee will be made up of Nurses and Consumers (patients) of Monash House Private Hospital. The purpose of the committee will be to provide leadership and perspective into the reviewing, planning and continual improvement to the delivery of safe, high quality patient care.
The consumer will specifically provide advocacy on behalf of the Consumers and community members, on topics such as improving service and consumer reporting and hospital policy.
Successful applicants will
Have been recently admitted to MHPH
Be over the age of 18
Be able to actively listen and be respectful to all members of the committee.
Be able to maintain hospital confidentiality
Actively participate in the meetings and conversations relating to hospital issues and being able to articulate the consumer perspective.
Have a basic knowledge of the Australian health care system.
