Overview

Monash House Private Hospital is excited to be hosting an Allied Health Education Evening in November 2025. Join Dr Paul Verrills, co-founder of MetroPain, and Dr Harrison Mihailidis, whose journey from Chiropractor to Rehabilitation Physician has led him to complex pain management, as they discuss advanced approaches to low back and neck pain. Mark Teiermanis, Physician Associate with over 10 years’ experience alongside Dr Verrills and a background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, will also contribute.

Monash House is a physician-owned facility featuring 22 beds, 4 operating rooms, an interventional CT suite, and 8 overnight en-suite rooms, recognised as one of the nation’s leading centre for minimal interventional pain. The evening will conclude with a Q&A session.

Join us for what will be a fun, casual, yet educational local event.

Event Includes

The event will kick off with some canapés and networking to meet or reconnect with fellow allied health professionals from around Melbourne as well as two of Monash House’s Interventional Pain Specialists. The evening will be structured as follows:

Introduction

A brief introduction from CoFounder of MetroPain Group and Interventional & Musculoskeletal Physician, Dr Paul Verrills.

Session 1: Low back pain

Presented by Rehabilitation Physician, Dr Harrison Mihailidis, this session will address the advanced algorithm when physical therapies response stagnates.

Session 2: Neck pain

Presented by Dr Paul Verrills, this session will focus on minimal interventional pain strategies.

Q&A Session

To wrap up the evening, Dr Verrils, Dr Mihailidis and Mark Teiermanis will open the floor to questions from all attendees.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided during the event.
